1.1 GENERAL
Computer furnishings consist of the leg assemblies, worksurfaces, repositionable raceways with latching doors, and modular electrical wiring systems.  This system is UL listed and tested under UL 1286.

1.2 SYSTEM DESCRIPTION

 1. The nominal dimensions of each workstation are:   See attached scaled drawings or itemization

 2. Leg Assemblies:
Leg assemblies are constructed of 11 gauge tubular steel with mitered joints continuously welded at the inside and outside corners.  Leg assemblies are drilled and tapped with .25/20 threading for rigid assembly.   Each face of the leg assembly offers a 2”x3” wire chase.  Legs are fit with leveling glides.   Leg assemblies double as raceways for wiring, data and USB extensions.

 3. Worksurfaces:
Worksurfaces are constructed of 1 1/8” thick 45# industrial density core material with high pressure laminate on the top and matching PVC edging on the sides and back.  The underside of the worksurface is balanced with a phenolic backer.  The work side edge(s) have a post-formed comfort edge.  The underside of the worksurface has .25/20 stayfast inserts mounting assembly and .25/20 hex head bolts.  All connections are metal to metal.  NO WOOD SCEWS INTO PARTICAL BOARD.

 4. Raceways:
Raceways are constructed of 18-gauge steel formed to shape with a latching door.  The raceway is 4” deep X 10” high X the ENTIRE width of the unit(s).  Raceway doors can open either to the back or underside of the table system.  Raceway is repositional.

 5. Electrical System:
The pre-wired electrical system is a eight wire, four circuit, 20-amp system that can be wire for one to four circuits per power starter assembly.  The power system incorporates a starter assembly, module holder with duplex outlets, and interconnecting assemblies.  The power system is all shielded galvanized conduit to protect against EMI. The power modules snap into a metal holder in the raceway to provide SAFE storage and flexibility.  The starter assembly must be hardwired by a electrician and is normally the responsibility of the customer.

 6. ADA Mounting Bracket:
The 16-gauge steel ADA mounting bracket is used to raise worksurfaces to 29 - 32” in height.

 7. Assembly
All connections between system components are metal to metal.  Steel components are drilled and tapped at connection points and work surfaces are prepared with steel stayfast inserts at connection locations for assembling with .25/20 hex head bolts.

  8. Finishes:
Steel components are finished with a baked polyester powder coat that is environmentally safe.Five Standard colors are available:  Wrinkle Black, Wrinkle Grey, Platinum, Beige, Almond.

High-pressure laminate (HPL) worksurfaces are selected from standard grade Wilson Art laminates.  Other laminates are available.

 9. UL Listing:
All table parts and components are UL listed and Tested to meet UL 1286 and the National Electrical Code.
